Founded in 1982, Childrens Choice is a Christian nonprofit child welfare agency. It serves several children throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Washington. The agency provides adoption services and kinship care to children in the age group of 5 to 12 years. Childrens Choice also provides short- and long-term family foster care programs. In addition, it provides treatment foster care programs, including counseling and treatment to children with severe behavior. The agency offers short-term respite care to children when their foster parents are unavailable. Childrens Choice is a member of the Pennsylvania State Foster Parent Association and the International Foster Care Organization.
