St. Elizabeths is a nonprofit, acute care, Catholic community hospital that is licensed for 550 beds and 60 bassinets. As a member of Humility of Mary Health Partners, St. Es is able to offer medical/surgical, intensive, intermediate, maternity, neonatal intensive, pediatric and psychiatric inpatient care, as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery and 24-hour emergency services. It also serves as a regional referral center for high-risk maternity and cardiology and is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the Mahoning Valley. We provide medical and forensic evaluations for children and teens who may have been physically or sexually abused, as well as complete medical evaluations for kids in foster care. Services are provided to children who reside in Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, as well as Mercer County, Pa. Our center is funded by the National Children’s Alliance and Akron Children’s Hospital.
