Heritage Pointe is an assisted living complex for seniors who practice Jewish beliefs. Built in 1985, it is the only one if its kind in the area, serving the elderly Jewish community from Orange County and Long Beach. With help from the Jewish Federation of Orange County and the surrounding community, Heritage Pointe is able to subsidize 20 percent of the tenants' rent. In order to fulfill its residents' spiritual needs, there is a synagogue on site that offers Shabbat and Judaic programs and events. In addition to basic healthcare services and a 24-hour nursing staff, the facility also has a memory care ward. This was especially made for people living with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Jenny Craig is located in a busy shopping center just off of Alicia Parkway. The weight-loss center has been in business here since 1996. It offers weekly group meetings, eating and fitness programs for all of its members. This location also stocks much of their food on site, making it convenient for its participants. The weight-loss specialists here are happy to answer any questions and field all concerns. They also offer free consultations for women who are interested in the program but aren't quite sure if it's right for them.
