The Macculloch Hall Historical Museum features 18th and 19th century American and English fine and decorative arts, original artifacts and reproductions. Past exhibits include "Gone For A Soldier: Jerseymen in the Civil War," "The Other Side of the War: The Civil War On the Home Front," "The Original Thomas Nast" and others. 

Historic Speedwell Village is an authentic swath of land preserved from the 19th century. There are buildings with artifacts from the era, as well as a permanent exhibition on inventor Alfred Vail. The site was the location of the first use of a telegraph.
