Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Corporation is a natural gas company that serves more than 60,000 customers in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. AOG provides natural gas service to residential, commercial and industrial customers and also transports natural gas produced from local wells to the interstate pipeline system. The company is headquartered in Fort Smith, Ark., in the heart of the Arkoma Basin, an area rich in natural gas production. Local natural gas wells connected directly to AOGs pipeline system provide much of the gas supply necessary for serving the needs of its customers. It also obtains natural gas from two interstate pipelines.
