Buoyancy Sensory Deprivation Center is the areas only full-service sensory deprivation tank service center in the area. Sensory deprivation services have been shown to relieve stress, depressive symptoms, tension headaches, and joint/muscle pain. Several studies have been done that suggest some relief from symptoms of PTSD. Athletes have been known to utilize sensory deprivation tank services to assist with recovery from muscle pain associated with strenuous exercise due to the large concentration of pharmaceutical grade magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) present in the floating solution.
