Richardson Regional Medical Center has been offering a broad scope of medical services to the Richardson, Texas, community for more than 25 years. The 205-bed acute-care hospital services residents of Richardson, Plano, Garland, North Dallas, Wylie and the surrounding communities. It offers heart and vascular services, advanced neurosurgery, a cancer center affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, an emergency department that is a member of the American Heart Association s Stroke Network and all-digital mammography for increased early detection of breast cancer. The hospital was one of the first health care facilities to receive the Texas Award for Performance Excellence, patterned after the renowned Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
