Asian Health Services, based in Oakland, Calif., is a community health care organization that provides medical care, health education, insurance counseling and client advocacy services. The organization has been serving the city residents since 1974. It provides more than 80,000 medical, dental and behavioral health visits to over 16,000 registered patients. Asian Health Services offers a wide range of clinical services, including pediatric, dental and mental health care, HIV and AIDS testing and counseling, emergency care and adult care services.
