Heritage Pointe is an assisted living complex for seniors who practice Jewish beliefs. Built in 1985, it is the only one if its kind in the area, serving the elderly Jewish community from Orange County and Long Beach. With help from the Jewish Federation of Orange County and the surrounding community, Heritage Pointe is able to subsidize 20 percent of the tenants' rent. Lifeline CPR has courses for both health care providers and those everyday people who want to be prepared in case of emergencies. It offers classes in cardiac and pediatric life support as well as community pediatric CPR. Students are encouraged to register for the classes online at least two weeks prior to the start of the session. Lifeline CPR also has online learning opportunities.
