The Little Gym has been serving children and families in over 23 countries since 1977. Programs are non-competitive in nature and include parent/child interaction, kindergarden and grade school gymnastics, sports skill development and summer camps. Classes and programs are available for children ages 4 months to 12 years. The Little Gym also hosts birthday celebrations for youth 1 to 12 years. The facility is located in the Village at Newtown East shopping center. There is plenty of free parking at the front of the gym in the shopping center lot and free introductory classes are available by request.
Located on Terry Drive, VMS Movement specializes in fitness training and offers general membership programs for individuals, couples, seniors, and teens aged 16 years and older. Personal expertise training is available one-on-one or for couples. The facility also provides lifestyle and weight management training, V-cycle, V-yoga and much more.
Tri-Hampton YMCA is a facility where children, teens and adults can come to strengthen their mind, body and spirit. The YMCA provides healthy programs to induce growth, wellness and unity. Membership is required and grants access to programs such as aquatics, family time, yoga and Zumba classes, arts and culture, and sports and recreation. The Tri-Hampton YMCA is part of the Lower Bucks Family, which also has locations in Fairless Hills and Morrisville.
Freestyle Salon is located across the street from Goodnoe's Corner. The two-story salon is inside a historic house that was originally built in 1860. Massages, body wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures are offered clients. You can also get your hair washed, cut, colored and styled at Freestyle Salon. The salon has been serving the Newtown community and surrounding areas since 1984. There is plenty of parking in the salon lot and on the street.
For swimming and recreational activities, Newtown Swim Club is the place to go. The club offers three pools, two tennis courts, three sports courts, mini golf and more. There is also a fitness center, and members can take a variety of classes. Newtown Swim Club also has facilities for camp, banquets, movie nights and picnics.
