A.P. Pharma utilizes its proprietary polymer-based drug delivery systems to develop and commercialize medical treatments. The companys primary emphasis is on advancing its Biochronomer technology platform for site-specific and systemic drug delivery. Designed to release drugs over a period of hours, days, weeks or even months, Biochronomer systems can be fabricated into many forms, which range from solid strands to free-flowing gels that erode as they deliver the drug.
