Jwalant Patel practices preventive functional medicine at MyFitMed in Dallas, Texas, where he provides optimal care and offers concierge services to give each patient his full attention. He believes in optimizing vitamins, testosterone, and other hormones to ensure you maintain a vital, energetic, healthy life and perform at your best. He also relieves pain and promotes healing of musculoskeletal problems with joint and trigger point injections, including innovative stem cell injections and naturopathic options. J Patel is a physician assistant certified in hormone replacement. His experience includes four years specializing in hormone replacement therapies and more than five years in pain management. His patients often seek his expertise in joint injections as they recuperate from injuries. Before moving to the United States, J Patel was a registered pharmacist in India. After relocating, he earned an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Findlay in Ohio. Following his desire to work one-on-one with patients, he decided to become a physician assistant and completed his studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. J Patel focuses on preventive health care and uses his combined training in pharmacy and as a physician assistant to develop customized treatment plans for each patient. Besides his practice at MyFitMed, J Patel currently serves in the United States Army as an Army Reserve Physician Assistant at the officer level. When he’s not working, J Patel enjoys spending time with his wife — who is a dentist — and son. He especially enjoys outdoor activities.
