Umigo is Your Home Track Race Real - Race More - Race Faster - Race Local Umigo is a small family business, locally owned & operated with YOU in mind. We have the highest customer return rate...read on to find out why! What Makes Umigo The Best Place To Race? At Umigo, it is our goal to provide you with what you are looking for at a gokart race track A Welcoming Environment: We know that most of you have never done this before and it is our goal to thank you for coming and to help you to become comfortable with the activity. We aspire to direct, guide and coach you through your first session so that you are ready to conquer the track on your next session. We will give you as much or as little direction as you want through straight forward one on one help. We do not hide behind marshal stands and control towers like at battery "gokart tracks", we are here for you. Ask for help and we will provide it. Many of our customers are our great friends of our staff. By racing here, you can become part of our family. We are a small family owned business, and our culture reflects that throughout our staff. The Lightest and Most Unregulated GoKarts: Why is that good? Simply because you are going to have more challenge and fun on the track, the closest thing to real racing. Imagine taking our karts and adding 300 to 400 more pounds on the kart (hint battery go karts weigh a ton, and are horribly balanced).... a go kart is supposed to be light, toss-able and fun. Umigo has no match in this area, we simply offer you a blast on the track. We Dont Slow You Down! Umigo does not (as a policy) employ artificial regulators unless you choose to ignore our instructions. Yes, we are focused #1 on the safety of our guests and our staff, but we communicate to you with words, signs and flags. Its just a bit more human AND we have to own up to our calls instead of hiding behind a control tower. Our goal is to help you improve as a driver, not to be your enemy during your visit. The list of "never-done-it before" drivers converted to "best in class" drivers from Umigo is a long one. You can be there too! We Let You Race! That may sound silly, but many places are so focused on protecting their equipment that they forget why indoor racing exists. Its for YOUR fun! Again safety first, but if you are not hitting the walls nor other drivers recklessly, we want you to have a blast out there. We have our rules that you must formally agree to and abide by, but nearly everyone does, so go have some fun! Our Racers Come First: We will try our best to give your group what they want in an event instead of forcing a set of packages that may or may not match your needs. Custom event planning for groups of 8 to 400+ is what we do best. We have the resources, the space, the rooms, and most importantly, the ideas that will make your event shine! We are your Home Track, we are here for you (not the other way around). We Change The Track Design Often: Becoming a good driver is more about adapting to a track than memorizing it. Your skills improve based on acknowledgement of what to do in any given turn instead of just doing the same thing over and over again. Umigo is the most unique indoor track anywhere in this aspect. To date, we have not found any indoor track in the world that has developed over 35 track designs. We think that is why Umigo produces such great drivers. Their skill development at Umigo is unsurpassed by any indoor track. Plus the same track gets boring after a while, right? We Race For "Real": What does that mean? Umigo hosts regular racing events for its membership: Thursday Night Drop In Racing, Friday Night Enduros, VIP Race Offs to name a few. You can race for lead position and the win at Umigo. Not every place lets you do that. Umigo Provides The BEST Value in Indoor Racing: Across all of our race sessions you get the most time on the track for your money, bar none. BIG track designs including high speed, and technical sections with room to pass means more fun for you. We do not dump a million racers on the track at the same time in order to prioritize profits over your experience. We want you to want to come back! We dont slow everybody down when someone spins out (because our track size is big and we dont put too many racers out at a time). We Take Your Feedback Seriously: Because we want Umigo to be your place to have fun, then your opinion means the world to us. We are constantly changing how we operate based on that feedback within the constraints of this unusual business model. We appreciate your ideas and words and will have an open discussion with you about them if youd like.
