The American Legion is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization chartered by the United States Congress in 1919 as a veteran's service organization devoted to the needs of service members and veterans. The goals of the organization include engaging the community's youth in special programs, advocating patriotism and promoting national security.
This American Legion Post is available to rent for events and meetings by the local community, and can provide food, drink, tables, chairs and kitchen facilities. With a maximum capacity of 250, the hall can be used for weddings, receptions, funerals, baptisms, confirmations, Girl & Boy Scout meetings and other private events.
The centerpiece of the Veterans Memorial Park complex, the Auditorium has served the westside community of Culver City since 1950. The city facility hosts a wide variety of events including many bodybuilding competitions, rhythmic gymnastics events, West Los Angeles College basketball games and has been the traditional starting point for the Culver City (a.k.a. Western Hemisphere) Marathon. Of note is the memorial monument which stands in front of the main entry, adorned with plaques which pay tribute to the history of Culver City and to more than 100 years of Olympic marathon winners.

The Auditorium seats up to 1,600 depending on layout—there are 776 fixed, upholstered seats (including 329 in a balcony) and an additional 824 padded folding chairs can be installed in a theater configuration on the main floor. Additionally, the venue has a hardwood floor space of approximately 10,000 sq.ft. and the floor was refinished in 2005. There is a 10-by-16 roll- up door at the stage with additional, ground-level access on the north side of the building. There are no traditional locker rooms in the facility, but there are three dressing rooms for theatrical performers and 11 meeting rooms. The meeting spaces - many of which are named for Culver City's sister cities around the world - include the 3,800 sq.ft. Senior Center, 2,150 sq.ft. Rotunda Room, 1,200 sq.ft. Garden Room and smaller facilities.
Spectator amenitis include a two-window box office and on-site parking for 300 cars plus ample street parking nearby. There are concession facilities on-site and a full catering capability. Lighting is sufficient for live audiences, but must be augmented for broadcast use. There is an electronic scoreboard in the auditorium itself

National Television is located on a quiet stretch of Ince Boulevard, just east of Washington. It is found directly across from Gate 2 of Culver Studios. It shares a courtyard with a variety of effect and production houses. Despite the name, National is not a television network but rather a motion graphics house. It does work for advertising companies, broadcast networks and music videos. Its clients include ESPNU, The Discovery Channel and the Los Angeles Times.
ITA Productions provides acting classes and workshops. Some of the available programs include TV on Camera, Ongoing Scene Study, Soap Operas, Feature and Indie Film. Workshops are regularly offered with casting directors, industry specialists, directors and producers.

Columbia Pictures, housed on a Sony Picture Studios lot, occupies an entire block on Washington Boulevard. Although Columbia Pictures is currently owned by Sony, it was originally founded under the name Cohn-Brandt-Cohn in 1919, and branded as Columbia Pictures in 1924, one of Hollywood's original leading film studios. It has put out such big-budget blockbusters as the Spider-man and Men in Black series, as well as, Casino Royale. It offers guided tours to the public for a fee.
