The Laser Skin Center provides laser skin treatments and cosmetic aesthetic procedures for men and women. It is a full-service center, offering laser hair removal, spa facials and specialized skin treatments, chemical peels, waxing, laser fat reduction and treatment of dark spots and sun damage. The center also provides treatments for spider veins, sun spots, acne and acne scarring and rosacea. The center recommends starting with a consultation on your first visit, followed up by one or a series of treatments.
MiniLuxe is definitely a cut above the other affordable salons. It was voted Best of Boston 2009 and 2010. Its mission: "to help you look and feel good with serious care for your hands, feet, face and body."
MiniLuxe has a stated commitment to cleanliness and sterilization, taking precautions that often exceed the industry standard. For instance, Miniluxe cleans its implements and sinks with hospital-grade disinfectant, it uses special pedicure chairs (of its own design) that never recirculate water and it sterilizes instruments in an autoclave after each use. It offers a full range of waxing, manicure and pedicure services as well as neck-and-shoulder massages ($12 for 10 minutes). It invites parties to book private events, with packages tailored to "girls' night out," wedding parties, corporate events and more. MiniLuxe has locations in Boston, Newton, and Lexington.
