The Department of Public Service for the City of New Baltimore is responsible for street surface maintenance, snow removal, ice control as well as maintenance of other areas like cemetery grounds and local government structures.
The Ferndale City Hall is located along East Nine Mile Road, between the public library and the police station. City Hall has a four member city council and one mayor. City Hall is currently under construction, with the whole second floor closed off. All city government operations for the time being are conducted in the lower level of city hall until further notice.
