Founded in 1987, Shadow Glen Golf Club is a nonprofit, private club that includes an 18-hole golf course. It spreads across an area of more than 7,000 yards and operates a clubhouse, Howard Nearing, which features an interior stone waterfall, high-vaulted and beamed ceilings, skylights and over 100 windows. The clubhouse provides venues for small luncheons, banquets, family functions and business meetings. Shadow Glen Golf Club has locker facilities that feature a whirlpool spa, steam room and dry sauna. It maintains a pro shop that offers golf equipment, apparel and accessories.
