Described by management as a "fair but challenging" links-style course, StoneRidge Golf Club is ranked as one of the top public-access courses in the Twin Cities. From the black tees, you can play nearly 7,000 yards. The club is semi-private, meaning that though it is open most times for public access, memberships are available which afford special course privileges, including preferred tee times, pro shop discounts and locker room conveniences. Located just north of I-94 and east of Manning Road, the club features live entertainment in its newly remodeled Danny's Bar & Grill; the restaurant offers patio dining, weather-permitting.
Located in northern Stillwater a short distance north of downtown, Stillwater Country Club is one of the area's top golf courses, with views overlooking the scenic St Croix Valley. The course has over 400 members, has hosted countless top Minnesota tournaments, and the first nine holes were designed by Tom Vardon, brother of Golf Hall of Famer and U.S. Open Champion, Harry Vardon. The country club also has a banquet room with a dance floor, outdoor patio and the 19th Hole Grille.
