The Springtown Golf course is a section of Las Positas Golf Courses which offers nine holes. Each hole has two sets of tees which can be used in order to play an 18-hole round. Golf carts and pull carts are available to rental and there is a restaurant on the premises. This course is well maintained and has very reasonable prices.
Tri Valley Golf Center is the largest natural grass driving range in the East Bay area. Featuring covered tees for practice in inclement weather, this facility offers individual and group lessons, video swing analysis and custom club fitting in the pro shop. The added attraction now is the on-site, made-to-order meals by Rock House Sports Pub & Grill.
Wente Vineyards was founded 128 years ago and is considered the country's oldest family-owned winery. The winery runs under the ownership of fourth- and fifth-generations of the Wente family. It features wine tasting, fine dining and a golf course.
This 18-hole course owned by the city of Livermore offers reduced rates for city residents. The general public can play nine holes for as little as $20 and 18 holes at twilight for $18. Tee times can be reserved on the course website. A pro shop, sports bar, clubhouse and clubs for women, men, seniors and juniors are available. Previously located out in the country, the course is now conveniently situated near the shops and businesses along Airway Drive.
