McCollum Park is the largest and most popular park in Downers Grove, offering several amenities including baseball, basketball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, soccer, football, tennis, shuffleboard, an 18-hole miniature golf course and a 1.2-mile walking/running path.
As part of an agreement between the Village of Downers Grove and the Downers Grove Park District, stormwater improvements are being made to the park which include relocating the basketball and sand volleyball courts along with a new full-size soccer field featuring bleachers, goals and irrigation and drain systems.
