Creative Cookies was formed in 1997 after mother/daughter team, Ronda Elfert and Cherrie Myers, discovered the need for a more unique and tasty gift in their home town of Slidell, Louisiana. Starting the business in the kitchen of Rondas home, they quickly outgrew it and found that Creative Cookies needed a home of its own. Being faced with the need for more space Ronda and Cherrie made the decision to keep the business home-based. This choice allowed Ronda to spend more quality time with her children until they were school aged. So, in the summer of 1998 Ronda and her dad, Ron, built the Cookie Shop on the side of her home and Creative Cookies became a fully licensed bakery. In November of 2002 Creative Cookies opened its first retail outlet in the Plaza 190 Shopping Center. Since moving into the new location they are proud to meet some of their long term phone customers face to face. Creative Cookies has evolved very fast and is pleased to be using the internet to promote its business.
