The Homestead Inn rents out chambers and cottage boardrooms. There are 18 chambers and all have air conditioning, king or queen beds, designer furniture, cable television, MP3 player, AM/FM clock radios, hair dryers and bathrobes. Each room is individually designed and contains original artwork. The cottage boardroom can hold up to 20 people and has a separate antechamber. Customers may also peruse the menu, which includes hors d'oeuvres warm and cold, entrees de poissions, crustaces et viandes and more.
For many years it was Le Figaro. The décor is still typically French, as is the menu. Appetizers include a charcuterie plate and escargots; for entrees there's steak frites and blanquette de veau; and tarte tatin and crème caramel for dessert. Plus there are pizzas and a lighter menu for the less hungry. La Brasserie is located towards the bottom of the Avenue -- look for the art nouveau signage and accents.
