NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, is a membership organization headquartered in Old Town Alexandria. The organization serves addiction counselors, educators and other health care professionals who specialize in addiction prevention, treatment, recovery support and education. NAADAC has 8,000 members and 43 state affiliates. The association is located in an office building on the corner of N. Fairfax Street and Canal Center Plaza.
