The lodge is located far off the road in a large off-white building at the back of a very large parking lot. Founded in 1868, the Elks have grown to be one of the biggest of its kind with more than one million men and women. The Natick Lodge of Elks has Monday night meals, lounges, large TVs, pool tables and other fun activities for members. Also, the lodge has one of the largest function halls in the town. The lodge has big events, such as Oktoberfest Craft fair, Misgivings comedy show, Natick Elks bingo and meat shoot.
The Knights of Columbus in Wilmington was formed in 1960. The center is located in the woods behind St. Thomas of Villanova Parish. It is a charitable organization comprised of Catholic men. The organization hosts a number of social and charitable events throughout the year and rents out its meeting hall for private parties. The center offers two halls, including full bars and bartenders.
The Knights of Columbus Council No. 85 is affiliated with Westborough's only Roman Catholic church, St. Luke the Evangelist Church. Over 175 members strong, the group hosts Wednesday night bingo and rents out the Knights of Columbus hall to the public for receptions, dances, parties and more. The facility has a functioning kitchen and a fully stocked bar. It can host 168 seated guests.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles is a non-profit charitable organization with locations in 1,700 cities across the U.S. and Canada. The organization aims to uphold and nourish the values of home, family and community that so often get overlooked in today's society. The Waltham Elks Lodge is a nonprofit organization and function hall (available for rent to the general public). It's open to new members. The Elks (officially called the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks) is a fraternal club established in 1868 with more than 2,000 lodges in the U.S., including Waltham. The main entrance to the lodge is in the rear of the building. Inquire within or call regarding membership.
The Waltham Regional office of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is located on Beaver Street near Waverly Oaks Road. It has been there since 1923. Please note that the office is only for Girl Scout related business and is not open to the general public.
This office handles administrative and other issues for Girl Scout troops in Waltham and the surrounding communities. It also oversees operation of the Cedar Hill Outdoor Program Centers, which host day camps during the summer and other troop events the rest of the year. There is also a Girl Scouts Musuem on the property, which is open by appointment. This office also sponsors an event on Waltham Historic Day every year as part of their local community support programs. This event is open to the public.

Led by Exalted Ruler David M. Craven, Elks Lodge of Winchester serves the community through various service projects. Programs offered include a drug awareness program, scholarships, youth basketball, memorial services for veterans and youth activities.
This local branch of the national Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States organization, VFW Post 529, is named for George Dilboy, a onetime Somerville resident of Greek descent who received the Medal of Honor for his efforts in World War I.
The George Dilboy Post is located on Summer Street just outside of Davis Square in the Winter Hill Bank building, with its entrance on Summer Street adjacent to the parking lot. This local branch holds monthly meetings, hosts fundraisers, does community service projects, participates in national scholarship contests and reaches out to local veterans. The George Dilboy Post also rents out its hall for functions and events.
