Reuland Electric is a manufacturer of electric motors, brakes and related products. The motor division, housed in a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility with a 30,000-square-foot aluminum foundry, produces a variety of motors from conception and product casting to component production and final assembly. Reuland has the capability to manufacture motors of various types and sizes, such as cryogenic, crane and hoist, dough mixer, elevator and aerospace motors. The company s brake division offers a variety of brakes, including magnetic disc and spring sets. An array of accessories is also available, such as cooling systems, fluid couplings and motor reducers. Reuland also provides the engineering services division, housed in a 17,000-square-foot building, which conducts research and development. Reuland has been building and repairing motors since the 1930s.
