Since 1993, Bush Brothers & Company has gained brand recognition for its Bush s Baked Beans with widely aired commercials featuring company spokesman Jay and his golden retriever Duke who utters the catch phrase roll that beautiful bean footage in every commercial. Bush Brothers & Company manufactures and distributes a variety of canned bean, vegetable and kosher products. In 1908, A.J. Bush, along with his oldest sons Fred and Claude, started Bush Brothers & Company as a tomato cannery. In 1952, Bush Brothers introduced a new product line of other varieties of beans. In the late 1960s, the grandson of A.J. Bush, Condon Bush, along with his co-workers, recreated his mother s secret family recipe and began to package the flavorful baked beans. Nearly a century later, the company has developed more than 40 bean products including kidney, chili and baked beans. Its products became available nationally in 1994. The company s plants are located in Augusta, Wis., and Chestnut Hill, Tenn.
