Founded in 1903, Bonner Springs Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that is responsible for fire suppression and prevention and emergency medical services. It works to protect the lives, property and environment from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. The department provides in-house training and fire service seminars. Bonner Springs Fire Department works with a team of more than 40 volunteer firefighters. It is operated by the city of Bonner Springs, Kan, which additionally manages tourism, public works, police and planning departments.
