The Credit Bureau offers an array of financial services. The Rochester Credit Center, doing business as The Credit Bureau, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Credit Education Bureau, which is a non-taxable trade association specifically designed for the purpose of providing general credit/collection education to the community. The Credit Bureau, being a full-service bureau, has more than one hundred years of credit and collection experience and has been providing credit-related services to the business community since its inception in 1896. The organization is comprised of several divisions. The Collection divisions, Retail and Commercial, are dedicated to the collection of delinquent accounts. The Credit Bureau reports to all three credit-reporting vendors including Equifax, Experian and TransUnion that cover the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
