Plato's Closet is located in a small strip mall on Layton Avenue at 78th Street and is one of nearly 300 stores nationwide. Plato's Closet sells and buys new and gently used brand name teen and young adult clothing (women sizes 00 - 15/16, XS - XL and men's sizes, 28 - 38, S - XXL ) and accessories that have been in the stores in the last 12 to 18 months so that they are of current style and fashion. The clothing and accessories are sold at up to 70% off mall retail prices. If Plato's buys your clothes, you receive 30-40% of what the item will sell for. Prices are based on brand, items, age of label, condition and customer demand.
