Carzalia Valley is one of the leading producers of a variety of onions throughout New Mexico. The company was originally founded as a cattle operation and turned to farming after the drought of the 1950s. Carzalia Valley s first irrigation well was drilled in 1953, which allowed for the production of high-valued crops, such as sweet onions. The company offers sweet onions, red onions and white onions to customers throughout the United States and parts of Western Europe. Carzalia Valley also provides health and nutrition information, as well as storage hints, about its onions. The company maintains its headquarters in Columbus, N.M.
