Las Animas High School is an educational facility that enrolls students in six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, English, physical education and social studies. The school also offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. Las Animas High School provides membership opportunities in the Future Farmers of America and the National Honor Society. In addition, it organizes basketball, volleyball, golf and football tournaments. The school operates a student council and yearbook club.
