She then completed a residency in family practice at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, where she served as chief resident. Next, she completed a fellowship in cardiology at the Prairie Heart Institute, also in Springfield. Today, she’s certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Cordes provides top-tier care in the areas most patients expect.
