In operation for more than 50 years, the Family Medical Center performs physical examinations, vaccinations, and routine and urgent care for patients. It offers on call physician services 24 hours a day and conducts digital X-ray on site in partnership with the Bardstown Diagnostic Center. The center operates an in-house laboratory and organizes free blood pressure checks. The Family Medical Center offers sports and employment physicals and administers well woman and mens health examination programs. It features computerized medical records and provides electronic prescribing to various pharmacies. The center accepts Medicare, Tricare Standard, Unicare and United Healthcare insurance plans.
