The Westchester Table Tennis Center is a 13,000-square-foot facility that opened in Pleasantville in May 2011. Owned by Pleasantville resident and New York Times crossword puzzle Editor Will Shortz, the center has 18 "Double Happiness" table tennis tables, high ceilings, lounge and locker rooms/showers for men and women. Located three-and-a-half blocks from the Pleasantville Metro-North Train Station, the club aims to be the premier table tennis facility in Westchester. There are more than 100 free parking spaces on premise for patrons. The center offers group training, one-on-one lessons, youth playing times and accommodates all levels of skill. It offers both one-year memberships and day rates.
