Invenergy LLC, along with its affiliated companies develops, owns and operates large-scale renewable and other clean energy generation facilities in North America and Europe. Based in Chicago, Ill., the company operates regional development offices throughout the United States, Canada, Poland and Scotland. Invenergy LLC and its affiliated companies have developed and placed in service over 19 wind farms and around five natural gas-fueled generating facilities. The aggregate capacity of these facilities is approximately 5000 megawatts, which can provide enough power for approximately two million homes. It is one of the largest independent wind developers in the United States, and maintains partnerships with landowners, including farmers and ranchers across the country. Currently the company is expanding its clean power portfolio to include solar power generation.
