Educational Service District 101 provides cooperative services to more than 50 public school districts and 40 state-approved private schools in seven counties of eastern Washington, including Adams, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman. Its curriculum instruction and assessment division has nine centers, including center for prevention programs and centers for special education services, juvenile detention services, educational technology, early childhood services and school improvement. The district has regional copy and print center with two commercial copy machines for both black-and-white and full-color printing. Its school to work connections program assists students in securing and maintaining employment. Educational Service District 101 publishes regional education newsletter and a brochure, and is located in Spokane, Wash.
