The Culinary Department at the Joseph P. Keefe Technical School runs the East Side Room Restaurant Tuesday through Friday.
As part of the program, students plan the menus, identify portions sizes, select and order food for the menu and prepare and serve the food.
The students run the restaurant and a bakery, which sells cookies and pastries.
Children Across America is a non-profit organization that provides underserved children in the Blackstone Valley region with affordable health care and educational services. The organization provides the children with free immunizations, preventive health care services, a free prescription drug program, Mass Health assistance and community outreach programs. Educational services include tutoring in reading, writing and math, MCAS camp for third and fourth graders and TESOL classes for kindergarten through fifth grade. All services are provided in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Class Measures is a consulting group specializing in teacher preparation and education quality. It works with teachers and school leaders to develop instructional methods. Class Measures also offers evaluation services, teacher licencing, turnaround support systems for struggling schools and charter school services.
Tobin Afterschool in Natick is located in a brand new, bright, spacious facility with three floors and close to 4,500 square feet of space. The lower level has a large open space for indoor physical activity, a game area, and a large art room. The first floor is designed to be homelike and offers a full kitchen, dining area, library, computers and well-designed classroom space for activity times. The second floor is home to the Science Center and classroom space for older children's activities and homework/study areas. At Tobin Afterschool, you will find a warm, enriching environment for children after school, during school vacations, professional days, snow days and early release days. Tobin provides transportation from childrens' schools to Tobin Afterschool, offering a variety of activities for children including Music, Animal Science, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, Zumba, Cooking, Theatre, Gardening, Track, Sports, Arts & Crafts, Homework Assistance and more! During the summer months Tobin Afterschool offers a unique "choose your days, choose your weeks" flexibility, which provides children with the option to attend all week or only the days you want. Tobin Afterschool Natick has a summer program for both school-aged and preschool-aged children.
