Aseltine School has been serving the educational needs of emotionally disturbed and learning disabled students throughout San Diego County, Calif., for more than 35 years. It offers a range of programs, such as basic literacy skill development, in-house and community-based vocational education and coursework leading to a high school diploma. The school organizes outdoor educational activities that provide opportunities for students to build confidence and increase awareness of the natural world. In addition, it conducts a variety of activities that include summer school, athletic events, and field trips to zoos, museums, plays, libraries and sporting events. Aseltine School, established in 1968, is located in San Diego.
