Community Services/Rentals is a department of Anchorage School District, which is one of the largest school districts in the country. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the rental department is responsible for coordinating district and public use of school facilities, which includes the management and scheduling of auditoriums at Bartlett, Chugiak, East, South and West High Schools. The school has provided facilities for over 1,000 school, community and cultural organizations as well as recreational activities. Its community department operates three major activities, such as assemblies, classroom speakers and field trips for its school. The rental department cooperates between the user organizations through Adopt-a-Rink program, Adopt-a-Field program, outdoor field facility and school facility.
