Compton Adult School, also known as CAS, is an educational institution that provides a variety of academic options to students. It offers guidance counseling and parent education services. The school s curriculum includes math, reading, English, science, economics and computer applications. Compton Adult School administers English as a Second Language and career technical education programs. It operates a business technology center that provides classes in keyboarding, word processing, machine transcription and office procedures. The school maintains the Exceptional Adult Center, which serves more than 140 students with developmental disabilities. Compton Adult School is part of the Compton Unified School District, which governs several educational institutions.
