Santa Barbara County Probation Department serves courts and assists adult and juvenile offenders in complying with the law. It has been operational for more than 90 years and operates various field service offices, counseling and education centers, juvenile halls and boys camps in the county. The department provides intake, investigation and supervision services for the superior courts.
