The Indiana University Department of Ophthalmology was founded in 1908. It provides information on eye diseases and their treatment, diagnostic tests and procedures, as well as various eye organizations and clinics. The department also offers a range of clinical services for glaucoma, vitreoretinal, corneal and external ocular diseases. The Indiana University Department of Ophthalmology additionally provides low-vision rehabilitative, oculoplastic surgerical, neuro-ophthalmology and adult strabismus services.
