General Surgery encompasses comprehensive care on many parts of the body, including lumps and bumps, breast, stomach, esophagus, small and large intestine, the liver, pancreas and spleen, thyroid and parathyroid glands, and all types of hernias. Vascular Surgery typically refers to surgery on the blood vessels throughout the body. Endovascular Surgery combines traditional vascular surgery with minimally invasive treatments. The surgeons Agave Surgical Associates practice the entire spectrum of General and Vascular Surgery while at the same time fulfilling an obligation to teach the science and art of medicine to tomorrows healers. As such, our surgeons regularly teach both residents in surgery and medical students interested in surgery from The University of Arizona, and are committed to a lifetime of learning.
