Dr. Nicole Rinewalt is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, where she graduated from Belhaven College after an early career as a paramedic. She continued to pursue her dream of becoming a physician when she was accepted to the American University of the Caribbean for medical school. After making the decision to pursue surgery, she was accepted and trained in general surgery at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. A sixth year of subspecialty fellowship training in burn care and reconstruction was completed at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Rinewalt went on to become an attending surgeon at the ACH burn unit for five years. She is now expanding her skills into pain management and is very excited to be joining the team at PTCOA.
