Some of Sun Coast Endoscopy Centers procedures include Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, ERCP, Polypectomy, Botulinum toxin (Botox) Injection, and Abdominal Ultrasound. We treat a variety of conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, GERD, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Gastroparesis, Hepatitis B/C, Autoimmune Hepatitis, Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Barretts Esophagus, Celiac Disease and Achalasia. In addition, for patient comfort, an Anesthetist will be available for sedation.

Kelly Gilmore, MD, received her undergraduate degree in biology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and completed her medical degree at the Universidad State Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Mexico, followed by a Fifth Pathway Certificate at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. She completed a general surgery internship at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, N.Y., followed by residency in general surgery and fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Gilmore is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Texas Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Gilmore specializes in colon and rectal surgery. She has special interests in pelvic floor disorders, rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, constipation, as well as surgeries of anal disorders to include hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistulas, anal warts, abscesses and pilonidal disease. She also treats full spectrum of colon and rectal disease to include colonoscopies and surgeries for cancer and benign disease. She performs laparoscopic, single incision laparoscopic surgery, as well as robotic surgeries. Her research into the short-term efficacy and safety in patients undergoing transanal hemorrhoidopexy with dearterialization (THD) has been submitted for publication by The University of Texas Affiliated Hospitals in Houston. Dr. Gilmore has proudly served in the United States Army as an enlisted soldier as well as a commissioned officer. She served in multiple locations stateside as well as overseas with a deployment to Saudi Arabia. She received multiple commendations and medals to include ROTC Corps Commander, George C. Marshall Award and Parachutist Badge.
