Amandeep Kalra, MD, FACP, is the neuro oncology Medical Director with Sarah Cannon HCA Midwest Health. Dr. Kalra specializes and treats all types of primary malignant and benign brain and spine tumors. Prior to joining Sarah Cannon HCA Midwest Health, Dr. Kalra completed a neuro oncology fellowship from one of the nation?s top institutes, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He offers a rich background of academics and research in addition to his patient care expertise. Dr. Kalra has served as an assistant professor of medicine for the Penn State University School of Medicine and the University of Massachusetts, and was on the faculty of Holy Spirit Hospital. He has published numerous abstracts and papers in his field of specialty. Dr. Kalra is a fellow of the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Society for Neuro Oncology.

Jaswinder Singh, MD is a hematologist-oncologist who is also holds board-certification in internal medicine. Dr. Singh has dedicated his career to the improvement of the lives with those diagnosed with cancer. He has a specific interest in complex GI (gastrointestinal) cancers. He has been a key leader for the Liver and Pancreas tumor board which oversees the treatment planning for hundreds of patients annually. In the years he has been at a physician at Research Medical Center, he has previously served as a Medical Director for the Clinical Trials Program. Dr. Singh remains an advocate for clinical trials for the benefit of the patient and the elevation of therapies in the future. He also continues to support research through multiple publications of his own research along with sponsored protocols. His work in the areas of solid tumor diagnostics has also led to the increased utilization of molecular profiling across multiple patient populations, thereby identifying future and potential therapeutic avenues for patient care. Prior to joining Sarah Cannon at HCA Midwest Health, Dr. Singh completed his hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Singh received his medical degree from Medical College, Chandigarh in India and served an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai VA Medical Center in New York.

K. Shawn LyBarger, DO, MS(R), is a Gynecologic Oncologist with Sarah Cannon at HCA Midwest Health. He serves as the Division Director for Gynecologic Oncology. He is the Medical Director for the Kansas City Institute of Robotics, where he is involved in building the robotics programs in the Kansas City area. In addition, he is the Director for Clinical Trials and Research, where is strives to offer the best and most up to date clinical trial options for his patients. Dr. LyBarger serves women in and around Kansas City and is committed to providing exceptional care to those affected by female cancers. He has a broad and extensive academic and research background that has provided him with knowledge and training in the latest advances in gynecologic oncology, and he is passionate about continuing to learn through all means. He also has training in advanced robotics which allows faster recovery, less pain, quicker return to work, and tiny incisions for even the most difficult cancer cases. He started an Enhanced Recovery Program in several hospitals to allow for faster and better recovering after both robotic and major open surgeries. Dr. LyBarger was nominated to be the national resident research and awards representative for the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and was honored several times during his training for academics, teaching, research and service. He is also an Assistant Professor at UMKC School of Medicine and is actively involved with teaching the residents for Truman Medical Center. In addition to his practice, Dr. LyBarger serves in numerous other professional leadership positions. He spends much of his off time participating in medical mission work in underserved areas in various countries. His areas of interest in research and treatment include advanced ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, robotics for treating all female cancers, and sentinel lymph node mapping.

Suman Kambhampati, MD, is board-certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology. He is Co-Medical Director of the Blood Cancer Program at Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, HCA Midwest Health located at Research Medical Center, Kansas City. Dr. Kambhampati treats patients affected by blood cancers and complex hematology issues. He has led or participated in multiple cancer research studies and published numerous professional papers. Dr. Kambhampati currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Sarah Cannon Blood Cancer Network (SCBCN) Quality Management Committee on Complex Blood Cancers and is involved with teaching and training of trainees at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where he serves as a staff physician. Dr. Kambhampati has received multiple awards for both his research and patient care, including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha and Lauri Stauss Leukemia Foundation Research Fellow; Department of Veterans Affairs Special Contribution Awards in Clinical Practice, Research and System Redesigns; Kansas NIH COBRE First Award in Cancer Experimental Therapeutics; Kansas City Super Docs in Hematology and Oncology; Appreciation of Exceptional Leadership and Dedication to Oncology from the Association of VA Hematology and Oncology. He is a professional member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), and the Association of Veteran Affairs Hematology & Oncology (AVAHO), of which he served as president. He serves as board member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Dr. Slovick is a member of the American Society for Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
