The Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, located in Kansas City, Mo., is a graduate school for professional studies. It serves as a community of higher learning for the men and women of the Christian ministry. It is owned by the Southern Baptist Convention and is spread over 200 acres of greenbelt. It has more than 20 theological intellects of the nation who are teaching and training the future ministers. It provides a variety of degree programs and online education programs. Its professional and academic programs are accredited by the Association of Theological Schools and the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary publishes the Midwestern Journal of Theology, a scholarly journal written to assist Christians and churches in making disciples throughout the world.
