Founded in 1976, CLASP Homes is a nonprofit community organization serving the communities of Fairfield County region in Connecticut. It serves more than 75 residents with mental retardation and related disabilities in group homes and provides assistance with daily living in supported apartments. The center organizes various events, such as community service day, golf tournaments and fashion shows. It also promotes various activities, including artwork, swimming, holiday parties, film-screenings and vacations. CLASP Homes is approved by the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation and the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services. It is located in Westport, Conn.
