Dr. Horowitz attended and graduated from Eastern Michigan University in Lansing, Michigan. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He attended medical school in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated with a D.O. degree in 1968. He performed his internship at Botsford-Zeiger Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He then did a 3-year residency in Dermatology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a 1-year fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at Childrens Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. After completing his residency in Dermatology, Dr. Horowitz moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he entered private practice, and continued to practice in Florida for 16 years. Dr. Horowitz moved to Torrance, California in 1990, and has been in private practice since that time.
