During those 2-3 years of training they are taught how to properly realign crooked teeth into a fabulous smile. Dr. Luddington completed a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Utah and then went on to earn his D.M.D. and Orthodontic certification from Tufts University in Boston. He has over 25 years of experience in orthodontics and truly lives by his motto “Artistry, Accuracy and Affordability.” Dr. Luddington is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Utah Association of Orthodontics, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. Dr. Richard Luddington has been a practicing orthodontist for the past 25 years. Like his father before him, he loves the science of straightening teeth. Dr. Luddington loves taking on challenging cases and helping patients who desire beautiful smiles. “My number one desire is to treat everyone who walks through my door as if they are family. I know I want to be treated honestly and that is how I strive to treat others in my practice.” Dr. Luddington has greatly enjoyed serving the people of Davis County. As a graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Luddington furthered his education from Tufts University in Boston where he earned his D.M.D. and Orthodontic certification. He then began his lifelong dream by practicing orthodontics full time in Bountiful, Utah. In 2000 he also opened a practice in Kaysville, Utah where he also serves the needs of his orthodontic patients in Northern Davis County. Dr. Luddington is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Utah Association of Orthodontics, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. Originally from Bountiful, Utah, he and his wife Barbara have four children. The family is diverse in their interests. Dr. Luddington enjoys woodworking, camping and boating, while his wife creates stained glass artistry. His children are pursuing veterinary, medical and cosmetology degrees. Their dog, YaYa is addicted to squeaker toys and snacks and is also an integral part of their family.
